25 Years of Concrete Tie Solutions

Producing quality concrete ties since 1987.
Rocla Concrete Tie, Inc. (RCTI) began producing ties in the United States in 1987. With the opening of the Denver, CO manufacturing facility, RCTI became the largest supplier of concrete ties to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
Shortly thereafter, in 1990, Rocla opened its second facility in Bear, DE in order to accommodate the upgrades to the Northeast Corridor for Amtrak’s High Speed Acela Train. In order to meet the demand of America’s Class I railroads and the increased use of concrete ties for transit projects, the Amarillo, TX facility was opened in 1999.
In the 25 years that Rocla has been in operation, Rocla has provided concrete tie solutions to all types of applications. This includes Class I railroads, light rail/transit projects, high speed corridors and industrial/ports all around the country.
As of 2010, RCTI has provided more than 20 million concrete railroad ties to date.
Rocla continues to expand its operations domestically and internationally to help meet the demands of the worldwide railroad community.
